eMCOS® POSIX Now Supports RZ/T2H High-End MPU from Renesas Electronics
Support for the eMCOS POSIX scalable real-time OS has been added for the RZ/T2H from Renesas Electronics, an advanced high-end MPU offering a high-level of application processing and high-precision real-time control.
The RZ/T2H combines an Arm Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU for application processing and an Arm Cortex-R52 dual-core CPU for real-time control, with networking functions that include time-sensitive networking (TSN) and support for a range of industrial Ethernet protocols, including EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET RT/IRT.
eMCOS POSIX is a scalable real-time operating system that is an ideal choice for the development of mission critical systems, with support for devices ranging from microcontrollers up to high end SoCs. When used in tandem with the various industrial Ethernet protocols available from eSOL, it enables the smooth development of a wide range of control equipment such as industrial robots, motion controllers, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
