eSOL will participate in the ARM Technology Symposia 2012 in Korea, Taiwan, China and Japan.
eSOL staff member will make a speech titled "A real-time OS that allows flexible software configuration in multi-core systems" in some cities.
eSOL will also showcase eSOL's eCROS platform with eT-Kernel real-time OS running on two types of multi-core processors, the ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore multicore processor integrated in Xilinx Zynq-7000 EPP and Freescale heterogenious Vybrid controller which integrates ARM Cortex-A5 and M4 into a single chip.

Real-time OS for flexible software configuration in multi-core systems |
| Abstract |
Due to its high performance with low power, a multi-core processor is one of
the good choices for systems which have constraint in power consumption such
as battery-driven mobile devices. A variety of ARM core-based multi-core
processors have been released recently including the homogeneous Xilinx Zynq-7000 EPP and the heterorgeneous Freescale Vybrid devices. In order to draw
out full advantages of these multi-core processors to meet system
requirements of real-time erformance and throughput without sacrifice of
development efficiency, flexible combination of SMP and AMP in the system
design is the key. In our speech, we will introduce eSOL's unique real-time
OS which allows various configuration in the multi-core systems and supports
both the Zynq-7000 EPP and the Vybrid devices. |
