ARM TechCon 2016 & ARM Technology Symposia 2016 <Finished>

eSOL will participate in the ARM TechCon 2016 and ARM Technology Symposia 2016 in China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

eSOL demonstrates cyber attack prevention at the real-time operating system (RTOS) level for an IP surveillance camera. eSOL's eT-Kernel RTOS detects non-authenticated applications including malware and terminates those applicaions before execution. eT-Kernel utilizes the ARMv8-M TrustZone mechanism to catch out those applicaions when RTOS APIs are called. Besides eT-Kernel, eSOL showcases its eMCOS scalable RTOS for intelligent edge devices in the IoT era.

An eSOL staff member will make a speech titled "Secure Real‐time Operating System for Connected Cars" in Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul.

Title Secure Real‐time Operating System for Connected Cars
AbstractIn the IoT era, we can expect automobiles to be a complex hub of inter-connected systems. Security is one of vital issues, as such systems communicate and coordinate action with each other, in both in-vehicle operations and off-vehicle as well. This speech will explain the latest technology of the scalable real-time operating system platform which covers a variety of automotive systems from electronic cockpit, heads-up desplays (HUD), to control ECUs and autonomous driving. Specific features to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availabilty will be illustated as well. Such features include security using TrustZone implemented on ARMv8-M and ARMv8-R, and a mechanism for cyber attacks prevention.
