FAT file system drivers
Overview
PrFILE2 is compatible with a variety of media including major memory cards. A fully functional file system can be added to a system quickly by using PrFILE2 and an appropriate driver.
PrFILE2 comes with the following sample drivers as standard:
- RAM disk
- Pseudo disk
Other optional drivers are available for PrFILE2.
eSOL can also develop or customize a driver for other media.
PrFILE2 options
eSOL offers "eXtended Sector Remapper (XSR)" technology for Samsung Electronics' NAND flash memory device. XSR is the flash translation layer between the file system and Samsung's NAND flash memory. XSR provides the block/device access feature to the OS and file system. A NAND flash device can be used as a general hard drive. The XSR software invisibly manages NAND flash memory with wear leveling, bad block management, sector conversion, and an interface to the NAND flash driver.
A driver for SD cards and multimedia cards (MMC) may be obtained from eSOL.
This product is compatible with the controller in the TMS320DM320.
CompactFlash Driver
The Compact Flash Driver is a driver for CompactFlash (CF).
This product is compatible with the controller in the TMS320DM35x and TMS320DM644x.
Memory Stick Driver
Driver for Sony Corporation's Memory Stick. It is compatible with Memory Stick PRO.
This product is compatible with the controller in the TMS320DM6446.
Memory Stick
eSOL offers a high-speed file system for Sony Corporation's Memory Stick. It is compatible with Memory Stick PRO.
