SDK for PictBridge
Overview
PictDirect, eSOL's PictBridge SDK, complies with the CIPA (Camera and Imaging Products Association) standard to print images from a digital camera directly to a printer. PictBridge is expected to be used in various image input devices such as cell phones with built-in cameras. This area of digital consumer products is becoming increasingly popular.
Supports the PictBridge standard
You can use PictBridge to develop a PictBridge-compatible device. Embedded products with PictDirect can be connected to PictBridge devices regardless of manufacturer or model.

PictBridge is a standard defined by CIPA (Camera and Imaging Products Association) to output an image from a digital camera directly to a printer. No personal computer is required. In the past, manufacturers developed their products with proprietary protocols. The available combinations for digital cameras and printers was very limited. The PictBridge standard enables any digital camera and printer with PictBridge to be connected for direct printing.  |

PictDirect supports the following environments:
- Real-time OS: PrKERNELv4 (compliant to µITRON4.0)
- USB device stack: PrUSB/Device
- File system: PrFILE2
PictDirect is not hardware-dependent. The hardware-dependent code such as the OS, user application, and file system are implemented separately and are customizable.Contact us for details.
